Paste a 12-character verification ID (found on the bottom of the audit trail and in the completed-signing email), the full 64-character SHA-256 hash from the Certificate of Completion, or the 32-character SHA-256 prefix printed on the signed PDF's last page.

How this works

When a document is completed on SignFile, we generate a SHA-256 cryptographic hash of the final PDF and store it with the audit trail.

When you upload the file here, we re-hash it. If the hashes match, the document is byte-for-byte identical to what was signed. If even a single byte changed after signing, the hash changes completely and the document shows as tampered.
